# Nerbus Explorer
NRB block explorer based on [eIquidus](https://github.com/team-exor/eiquidus).
The running site is https://explorer.nerbus.com. This repository contains the
deployed application source, the Nerbus branding, mainnet identity check, and
network status integration. Production credentials and databases are excluded.
## Setup
Install a Node.js version supported by `package.json`, npm, and MongoDB 7.
```sh
npm ci
cp settings.nerbus.example.json settings.json
```
Edit `settings.json` with your private MongoDB and loopback NRB RPC credentials.
Use port 39441 and the Nerbus mainnet genesis configured in the example. Enable
`txindex=1` and `addressindex=1` on the node before indexing. Node startup is
performed separately by its operator. Start the explorer using its npm scripts
or the process manager described in `README.upstream.md`.
The interface and NRB branding are English. Both explorer and wallet verify the
expected genesis identity. When the node is unavailable, the explorer displays
network status rather than fabricated balances or blocks.
## Wallet network API
The optional bridge is maintained in the
[wallet repository](https://git.nerbus.com/nerbus/nerbus-wallet/src/branch/main/server).
It exposes only public address queries and signed transaction broadcast. It
does not hold private keys. Reverse-proxy `/wallet/v1` over HTTPS to its loopback
listener, following the included service configuration.
## License and attribution
See `LICENSE`, `README.upstream.md`, and the original source headers. The public
Nerbus repository starts from a snapshot of the deployed explorer source.
